The highest waterfall in the Ukrainian Carpathians is situated between the mountains Breskul and Hoverla. It has got its name from the well-known Prut River, by the mouth of which it starts.
The waterfall creates six cascades. The biggest one is 12 m high, and a total height of water flow is 80 m.
Many hikers, having climbed the Ukrainian highest peak Hoverla, walk to rapid waterfalls on the Prut River. Not far from this place, there is a trail, leading to Hoverla.
