The church was built and consecrated in 1895. It is an architectural monument of the local meaning. An old church, built on that place, was moved to the village of Lazeshchyna, Rakhiv rayon, Transcarpathian oblast).
The walls of the church were painted by Ferdynant Orikhovskyi. The iconostasis was carved by Vasyl Turchyniak. Some icons, such as “Jesus Christ in the Olive Garden”, were painted by Karl Skochdopol.
