“Hutsulshchyna” is located near the famous Probiy waterfall in Yaremche. The restaurant is one of the most spectacular examples of Hutsul architecture. This log wooden construction, designed by Ivan Bondarchuk, was built without a single nail in 1965. The outside of the building is decorated with carved patterns. Window and door frames, low fences, and pointed turrets on roofs are decorated as well. The interior of the restaurant is decorated in a traditional style, filled with various Hutsul household items and antique furniture. There is also a wood-burning stove inside decorated with colorfully patterned Kosiv tiles, and Hutsul pottery on the tables. The towels embroidered by local craftsmen represent a special decoration of the restaurnt’s walls. Next to the restaurant there is an observation deck with a picturesque view of the mountain river Prut.
The menu of "Hutsulshchyna" offers dishes of traditional Hutsul cuisine, served on authentic ceramic plates painted with traditional patterns.
