One of the opportunities for hiking through the Chornohora range is Mount Smotrych. On the western side, its slopes are mostly flat, while all other slopes are quite steep. There are also lots of rocks on the slopes, the mountain's top is completely stony.
To the north of the mountain there are the Smotrych waterfalls, to the southeast there are the mountains Staiky and Mali Staiky, to the south there is Mount Pip Ivan mountain, to the west there is Mount Dzembronia, and to the northwest there are the mountains Hutyn Tomnatyk and Menchul.
The nearest settlement is the village of Dzembronia. A popular hiking route through Vukhatyi Kamin and Smotrych to the top of Pip Ivan starts from here.
