The monastery church is located by the motorway in the settlement of Dora. The church construction was finished in summer in 1938. It demonstrated a style of a traditional Hutsul architecture.
This church is strongly associated with Studite monks who belong to Univ Lavra. In 1937, the family of Kukurudzy donated their land plot to Studites. Starting from 1935, the sacred building was a home to the underground Greek-Catholic church. After Ukraine had proclaimed its independence, the church was renovated.
